Oh Lord! It’s only week 6 in Miss Luna’s 52 Weeks colour challenge, but it feels like ages!
This week’s colour is Alice Blue, which is a pale tint of azure that was favoured by Alice Roosevelt Longworth, daughter of Theodore Roosevelt and which sparked a fashion sensation in the United States.
For some reason I have ended up with a darker blue… I must have been thinking of Alice from Through a Looking Glass & Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.

I am also playing catch-up on some of the early colours. Week 1 was Champagne.
The colour champagne is a name given for various very pale tints of yellowish-orange that are close to beige. The colour’s name is derived from the typical colour of the beverage, champagne. The first recorded use of champagne as a color name in English was in 1915.
