The Dressing Room is a discount shop created by fabulous designers, and the collection is available for 2 weeks. The designers are: [ glow ] studio, Tuli, Magic Nook, Cheerno, LG CONCEPT, Aoharu, AA fashion, YourSkin&YourShape, Glam Affair, Ricielli, So many styles. The prices are never over 70L$!!

During the 2nd week of the Dressing Room, a second discount shop offers a collection from [ glow ] studio, Emery, Exile, Tee*fy, Veschi, CnS Emotion, BAIASTICE, Kunglers, Urbanity, Mimikri Hot Couture at The Dressing Room BLUE (also for 2 weeks). Again prices are between 40-70l$! Never higher!

Gothic visions

One feature that I really enjoy in SL is the Showcase, where you can find all sorts of locations like my latest find, which is listed under Castles and Ruins. The setting was inspired by Emmi’s current outfit. At first glance it might look like a cathedral, but it is a castle, or is it a bit of both? You will need to visit and see for yourself.

Dolly Rocks

Just a quick post today.

Sometimes something will grab your attention because of the styling, colour or texturing. This was the case when I saw this dress from DollyRock. What also made it an attention grabber was the fact it is available on XStreet for an promotion price of 100L$.

The soft suede in this lovely blueish grey colour is just up Emmi’s style street.

Belleza

I know that the new Belleza group gift has been or will be blogged about alot, but I will blog them anyways.

I am pleased to see that Tricky Boucher has made a new pale tone, called Fair, which is paler than the existing Pale tone. He has also made a darker tone, Mocha, which I think would be ideal for those ethnic avatars in SL.

The gift set includes all tones, with eyebrow, cleavage and hairbase options, which in my opinion is a big plus and why I joined the Belleza group in the first place. However it costs 250L$ to join, but that is a bargain when a skin in the store can cost 1800L$.

New Stuff

Hi, finally we have some sunshine here in the UK And in celebration, I have decided to show some new things I have either found recently or been sent by one of the groups I belong too.

Whilst following the FabFree group chat, someone posted a Slurl to the R.icielli store saying there was a free dress. In fact there was a free skirt for everyone and a group gift in the notices (the group was free to join).

As it is usual for a Double Dose to be posted on a Sunday, I have given the new freebies from R.icielli the honour of being featured, lol.

The skirt is the ANITA High Waist and comes in this lovely yellow colour. I decided to pair it up with a black tanktop that I got from Elate and the stockings from Runo Runo.

As Emmi is on a budget and the Ving boots from Shiny Things are 500L$, I felt that would too much for Emmi to spend. So I tp’d over to Duh! as I had seen on a previous visit a set of boots similar to the Shiny Things ones for a fraction of the price, but of high quality Since buying the Leather Work Boots, Emmi hasn’t taken them off, lol. They are just what a Neko Emmi needs *giggles*

The second freeie from R.icielli is the Brenda dress (in black only). This would make a nice alternative cocktail dress, with the large fan-like collar and off-at-an-angle bow at the waist. The skirt is not sculpted as it is on the system skirt layer.

The other new thing is the skin. It is the new Elle skin just released by Belleza. Tricky Boucher has released 2 new skin tones, a lighter tone called Fair and a darker tone called Mocha. A group gift of an exclusive makeup in all 7 tones was sent out last night SLT.

Just a quickie today….  When looking for new places to explore, I often look at the Showcase tab as you can find all sorts of places. One place that was listed under Nature/Parks was Vague.

No doubt you will have heard of the issue that was raised on Flickr about posemakers not getting creditted by bloggers of SL fashion (click here). I do credit posemakers where necessary, but more often than not I forget to do so, and I bet I am not the only one. So from now on, where I credit posemakers, a SLurl will be added to my SLurl list under My Poses.

My friend and fellow blogger, Evie, told me that Posies is having a closing down sale. Single poses are 35L$ and fatpacks 200 – 500L$. Have until 17th April to snap up some fun/quirky poses.

This will be a quick post, lol.

I have known Freya Olivieri, owner and designer of Trashy Girls in Style as an acquitance for sometime. However, it has been months since I visited her store. The last time was after she had moved to her current location in New Life sim.

Freya started out aking clothes that were never more than 69L$, so that people like Emmi could afford them. How time has flown!!! Now she is making clothes that are in the 100-200L$ and of good quality. So I have a selection to show, some are freebies and 2 are cheapies:

The sundress on the left was a dollarbie gift and the Mirror Bandeau dress was a freebie gift. As the sundress did not come with pants, I added the Nishar leggings (in white) from {Zaara}.

The dress below is a freebie and includes the oversized floral corsage and bracelet. This is a great party dress for that 80′s themed party, lol.

As well as the freebies, I purchased a green corset for 65L$. It comes in 2 versions — v1 includes a prim chest piece and prim back tie to add realistic elements and v2 is an old fashioned texture only corset with NO prim parts. The prim chest piece is fairly to resize to fit your shape. I paired the corset up with a pair of denim leggings in black from This Is A Fawn.
